Wellcare Medical Clinic was founded by Drs Tam Van Doan and Thanh-Tam Thi Pham. This is an accredited family practice and we provide a comprehensive range of services for the family from newborn, children, adults and the elderly.

Dr Thanh-Tam Thi Pham MB.BS is a medical graduate of Saigon University in 1979 and The University of Adelaide in 1989. She has a special interest in women's health, psychotherapy, family counselling, musculoskeletal problems, preventative medicine...

Dr Mark My Le MB.BS – University of Adelaide, FRACGP has special interests in skin cancer and minor surgery, children's health, travel medicine and chronic disease management.

Dr Hieu Tam Doan BMBS BPharm FRACGP - graduated from Flinders University in 2011, and in the following two years completed his hospital training at Flinders Medical Centre as an intern, and as a resident medical officer at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Women's and Children's Hospital Paediatric Emergency Department. He enjoys all facets of general practice.

Dr Trung Doan, FRANZCP, MD, Cert. Adult Psych - Consultant Psychiatrist

Dr Trung Doan is a Consultant Psychiatrist who provides assessment and treatment for adults aged 18 years and over experiencing a broad range of mental health conditions. He works collaboratively with patients to develop an individualised treatment plan that may include psychiatric assessment, medication management, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and communication with treating general practitioners and other healthcare professionals.

Dr Doan completed medical training at Flinders University and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). He has completed Advanced Training in Adult Psychiatry (Cert. Adult Psych.) and has undertaken additional psychotherapy training through the Psychotherapies Education and Training Association (TPEA). He is currently undertaking the Advanced Certificate in Psychotherapies through the RANZCP.

Dr Doan has worked across a wide range of psychiatric settings, including inpatient psychiatry, community mental health, consultation-liaison psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, perinatal mental health, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health services. This breadth of experience informs a comprehensive and holistic approach to psychiatric care.

A particular area of interest for Dr Doan is psychodynamic psychotherapy. He believes that understanding a person's emotional experiences, relationships, developmental history and patterns of relating can provide valuable insights into current difficulties and support meaningful, lasting change. His clinical approach integrates biological, psychological and social perspectives, combining evidence-based psychiatric treatment with psychotherapy-informed care.
